Great First Dance Songs

Sometimes brides can struggle to decide on what song they would like as their first dance.
This of course, is a traditional and romantic part of the big day!
If you haven’t yet decided on what will be yours, here are some ideas:

Maybe there’s a song which always makes you think of your fiance when you hear it?
Or maybe there’s a special song which both of you have enjoyed together?

Some popular song choices include:

Amazed- Lonestar
Everything- Michael Buble
At Last- Etta James/ Beyonce
Smash Into You- Beyonce
Greatest Day- Take That
Halo- Beyonce
Run- Leona Lewis
Make You Feel My Love- Adele
(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life- Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes
Better Together- Jack Johnson
I’m Yours- Jason Mraz
She’s The One- Robbie Williams
Crazy Little Thing Called Love- Micheal Buble
Dancing In The Moonlight- Toploader
My Heart Will Go On – Celine Dion
If I Ain’t Got You- Alicia Keys
First Time Ever I Saw Your Face- Roberta Flack/ Leona Lewis
Your Song- Elton John/ Ellie Goulding
Don’t Want To Miss A Thing- Aerosmith
Truly, Madly, Deeply- Savage Garden
Everything I Do- Bryan Adams
Just the way you are – Bruno Mars
Marry you – Bruno Mars
You’re Still The One- Shania Twain
From This Moment On- Shania Twain
You’ve Got A Way- Shania Twain

It can be more sentimental and memorable to have your first dance performed live by a professional singer. You should ensure to let the singer know which song you have chosen as your first dance song well in advance of the wedding day. This gives him/her plenty of time to either learn the song, or record the original version (if you choose to have recorded music for the first dance).
You should also ask your DJ, and possibly even the venue, to make sure they have the song for you just incase.
